Just between us, of all the things I was supposed to wear to Fashion Week, this peachy perfection from Chloe was the one I was excited about the most. Mostly because I am some what familiar with New York weather in February and fur, even if it's faux, would offer the most protection from the cold ( I was very naive!!! Given what I know now, five layered fur coats wouldn't have been enough to keep me warm ) but also because well..., it's peach fur, and if that doesn't say Fashion Week, I really don't know what does:)
Alas, United States Post Service, or as I like to call it, a company with a perfect track record for delivering things late or not at all, put an end to my dream of braving New York weather in my peachy fur.
The coat arrived a few days after I came back from New York, on what was a particularly sunny and warm day. I mean of course it did, I always said that the universe has quite a sense of humor! And so I circled the box a few times, tried my new coat on, got a complement from Emil followed by a very pertinent question. The question of course was whether I would still be able to wear it or would I have to put it away until next year. Ha! Shows how much boys know about girls and fashion. Because quite frankly, the answer to the question is always yes! Yes, you can absolutely wear fur coats in LA if you really want to! And I really, really wanted to!
And so, I waited for a cold day! After a week or so, just as I was about ready to give up, my patience was rewarded and the cold day finally came! I mean, sure 60s probably doesn't quite qualify as fur coat weather per se but given that I am in LA, it was the closest thing to cold I was going to get:) After weeks and weeks of waiting, I finally got to take my peachy perfection out for a walk and... it was fantastic! Now, I find myself hoping for more cold days just so that my peachy friend and I can spend more time together! :) Of course, the temperatures seem to be climbing up, so now I am thinking that perhaps 70s could also qualify as peachy fur weather...

Normally not a big fan of military greens, I fell in love with this jacket when I spotted it on my last trip to Zara. I think the studs did it for me more than anything else... I also gave in and got this oversized animal-print bag, mainly because I think it looks really cute with the jacket and secondly because I think it's such a versatile piece. I know, I am attempting to justify yet another bag purchase, but really, animal print bags work with anything, right? :)
The leather leggings/pants I am wearing are super old and super special, I got them about a year and a half ago and been wearing them pretty much non stop since. Looking at some of my old posts, I think they made a record number of appearances on this blog, see just a few here, here, here & here. We definitely had some special times together... Yeah, from New York Fashion Week to camping in Malibu, they were with me every step of the way, and it looks like our adventures continue:)

If you read my blog on regular basis, you know what a big accessories fan I am. For me accessories, are an essential finishing touch that pull everything together and complete a look. My latest obsession is watches, which is why I am so excited to team up with Armani Exchange once again for their new project #DressedFor #Time, to showcase one of my favorite watches from their current collection.
I say one of my favorites, because believe me, it was not an easy decision to make. At the end, I chose this elegant snake embossed skinny watch because of it's sleek and simple design. I think it's definitely one of those pieces I am going to wear everyday, because it works so well with right about everything: from jeans to cocktails dresses. And you know how much I like pieces that can be styled in an infinite number of ways!

I would like to start by announcing the winner of AnthemWares International Giveaway! Congrats to Melissa Serje with winning Angel Jackson bag! Hope you love this awesome bag as much as I do!
Emil and I were running errands all day and I knew I was going to be on me feet a lot, so I decided to wear flats for a change. Not really much of a sacrifice, considering how cute these glitter slippers are. You know me, I like sparkly things! I don't know why, really, but they always cheer me up:) And since the weather has been so sad lately, I felt like I could definitely use some cheering up.
I don't normally complain about the weather, but I am really not a big fan of those gloomy, rainy and cold days. Who is, right? Well, apparently Emil is a huge fan. While I was complaining about lack of sun, he informed me that this is his favorite type of weather. Go figure, huh? Suppose frizzy hair and running mascara are not really much of a concern for him. Guess we are all different after all... Cause I would trade this for a warm sunny day in a heartbeat! Who's with me? :)
