I designed these shoes about 3 years ago, while I was still working with a wonderful shoe designer Elisa Ferare. Working with Elisa was a great privilege and one of the most important turning points in my life and I will always be thankful for her support and kind words of advice. I try not to wear these shoes too much, because to me, they are more of a memento of this wonderful period in my life. But since I haven't shown them to you yet and they match perfectly with my jeans, I figured I could take them out for a walk. 

On the subject of jeans, when I first saw them I had one of those mind-numbing, jaw dropping, have-to-have-them, love-at-first-sight moments! Really, could they be any more perfect! Got them a few days ago and haven't taken them off yet. Not really planning to either:)

Left my house this morning wearing a really cute off-the-shoulder knit, two hours later I managed to spill a cup of coffee all over the front of my new sweater! Such a bummer, don't you just hate when that happens! Note to self, have to stop trying to do a million things at once, like drinking coffee, checking out a really cute dress in a store window, talking on the phone and looking for car keys in what seems to be a bottomless purse:) Right now the sweater is at the dry cleaners undergoing an emergency stain removing procedure:) Hope they can save it! Lucky for me, I had this Equipment shirt in my car, which I think worked with the outfit and totally saved the day.


Today is a very special day for Emil and I. We celebrate 5 years together. So, I want to take this opportunity to tell him just how wonderful he is and how much I love him! Hope you know you are the reason I smile every morning! Thank you for being the most sincere, kind and  funny person ever, mon ami!
