Not really sure how to even begin to describe or explain my obsession with blazers. A big fan of tailored pieces and layering in general, blazers are like my second skin, I feel most comfortable and confident, wearing one. So, whenever they come back in style, like they have for this Fall/Winter, I feel absolutely ecstatic! Take this schoolboy Rag & Bone blazer for example, love the chevron print and slightly shrunken fit, from the moment I saw it, I knew it was one of those pieces I'm gonna wear with everything and everywhere. Suppose this is a warning of a sort, so get ready to see it a lot! And I mean a lot!!!!

P.S. I've been getting a lot of emails from you guys about the jewelry I wear. Suppose it's not really a big secret I am extremely fond of bracelets and necklaces. I got a lot of emails in particular, about the bracelet I'm wearing in today's post. Along with the statement necklace I wore in a recent post seen HERE, this ultimate pave piece of arm candy is from Ily Couture, a brand I absolutely adore and wear quite a bit. I love their bold jewelry, amazing color palette and impeccable quality.

Spent the day shopping for Fashion week coming up in September. Granted, trying on tweed and brocade in 100-degee weather is absolutely bizarre, still, I am really excited to see all the wonderful trends coming in for this fall. It's just somewhat difficult to get into the right mindset, when all you can think about is taking a cool dip in the ocean, preferably in all your clothes, or chugging down anything iced.  

Don't think I remember another Summer like this, I mean, normally a big fan of the heat, as of  last week I unapologetically long for cooler temperatures. My breaking point, I left my make up bag in a car during a quick store run, came back to find that all my lipsticks melted! Never seen anything like that! I mean they turned into liquid, creating a mini peachy-pinkish pond at the bottom of my bag. There was no way to save the bag or any of it's contents, so I had to throw the whole thing out! I think it was that particular moment that made me think, oh boy, I am soooo ready for Fall!

 I have a pretty soft spot for Theory in general, but I am particularly impressed with this Summer's collection. Known for their impeccable tailoring, this year, the collection included a lot more relaxed pieces and also a lot more color. So, of course when I spotted this gorgeous brilliant blue striped sweater, I simply had to have it. I love a good knit for Summer. Like I mentioned before, California weather is pretty unpredictable, hot during the day and cool and night. So it's nice to have something to trow on top once the sun sets down and it doesn't hurt if it happens to be the most amazing shade of blue ever:) I paired it with equally amazing skinny jeans in yellow iceberg wash. Really love the way soft yellow brings out the blue of the sweater. 


I also wanted to wish everyone Happy 4th of July! Hope you all have a fantastic and relaxing day!!! Emil and I along with a bunch of our friends are heading to Malibu tomorrow, for a beach barbecue and to catch a glimpse of the fireworks! I've been living in LA for about 6 years now, and I still can't get used to how cold it gets at night. Seriously, once the sun goes down the temperatures can drop 10-20 degrees easily. When I first got here, I never knew what to wear. Now, I never leave home without a blazer or a jacket, which is why you see so many of them on my blog:) 

I got this cute little blazer from Zara to wear with my new patent leather flats. Something about white tweed and patent leather always looks chic to me:) Oh, and the little tassels, so cute, right:) These are my favorite, go to flat shoes at the moment! Running around in heels all day long gets pretty tiring, and who needs heels when you have such a fabulous pair of flats:)
